What Find My Booster answers for The Hobbit
Give it a list of the Hobbit cards you want and it ranks the two supported packs by how many of those card names you can genuinely pull:
- which of your wanted cards can come out of a Hobbit Play Booster;
- which can come out of a Hobbit Collector Booster;
- which of your cards aren’t obtainable from either supported pack.
Matching is by card name, so the printing, treatment or set code you request doesn’t matter — only whether that card can physically appear in that exact product does. The Hobbit’s eternal-legal companion code (HOC) is handled the same way.
Play Booster vs Collector Booster
Play Boosters are the standard draft-and-play packs for recent Magic sets. Their slots can yield the set’s commons, uncommons, rares and mythic rares along with many of its special showcase and borderless treatments.
Collector Boosters are premium packs built around foils and special treatments — extended-art, showcase, borderless and other collectible finishes. Some Hobbit cards and treatments are Collector Booster–only and never appear in Play Boosters, so the two products do not offer the same card pool.
