What is in a Play Booster
A Reality Fracture Play Booster has 14 playable cards plus one non-playable insert (a punch-out counter or a double-sided token). Wizards describes these slots:
- 5 to 6 commons (in about 1 of 55 boosters, one of 10 non-foil Special Guests cards replaces a common);
- 1 uncommon;
- 1 common or uncommon;
- 3 echoed-pairs cards;
- 1 rare or mythic rare;
- 1 traditional foil;
- 1 land.
Across a pack Wizards gives the rarity range as 1 to 5 rare-or-higher, 2 to 6 uncommon and 5 to 8 common, plus one land. A Play Booster draws on the main Reality Fracture set and a small group of Special Guests cards.
What is in a Collector Booster
A Reality Fracture Collector Booster has 15 playable cards plus one non-playable insert (a traditional-foil double-sided token, or one of 54 art cards). Wizards describes these slots:
- 4 traditional-foil commons;
- 2 traditional-foil uncommons;
- 3 traditional-foil uncommon echoed-pairs cards;
- 1 traditional-foil tower basic land;
- 1 traditional-foil rare or mythic rare;
- 1 non-foil braintwister card or Booster Fun card from the Reality Fracture Commander cards;
- 2 non-foil rare or mythic Booster Fun cards;
- 1 foil rare or mythic Booster Fun card.
Wizards counts 11 to 12 traditional foils in a Collector Booster. Beyond the main set and Special Guests, a Collector Booster can also hold selected Reality Fracture Commander cards.
Which should you buy?
Play Boosters have the standard card pool. Collector Boosters add premium treatments and the eligible Reality Fracture Commander cards, so a card that exists only as a Commander-set printing can come from a Collector Booster but not a Play Booster. That is what changes the answer for a given want list, and it is why the tool checks each card name against each pack instead of assuming one is better.
Matching is by card name, so the printing or treatment you ask for does not matter; only whether that card can physically appear in that exact product does. Booster matches are possible pulls, not guarantees. See how it works for the full method.
